What kind of parties can be booked online?

Kids’ parties can be conveniently booked online for Bowling, Playzone, Mini Golf,
and Skating. Kids party packages include 8 guests but also offer an option for
additional guests to join. Larger events at Langford Lanes may be booked by
emailing bowling@citycentrepark.ca. Dry Floor parties and outdoor skating
parties can be booked by emailing bookings@citycentrepark.ca to connect with a planner.)

What if I'm not sure about my party's final headcount?

The minimum amount of children for our birthday party packages is 8 kids. For Bowling Parties, when making your reservation, we recommend that you book for the maximum amount of kids you are expecting so the correct number of lanes are booked. Final numbers should be confirmed 72 hours in advance.

This information is important to us in case we need to add on required bowling lanes, as well as so that our kitchen and staff are prepared. It is very important you give us an accurate headcount since we may not be able to make day of changes if for example, you’ll need additional lanes.

What if I need to change/edit my reservation after I've already checked out?
If you need to modify your reservation after booking, please send us an email at bowling@citycentrepark.ca and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations for birthday party packages are permitted up to 72 hours prior to
your event for a full refund. Single lane bowling reservations require 24 hours
notice for cancellation. 2-3 lane bowling reservations required 72 hours notice for
cancellation. Bowling reservations with 4 or more lanes require 30 days notice for
cancellation. Drop in skating reservations require 24 hours notice for
cancellation. Private outdoor skating reservations require 72 hours notice for
cancellation.

Do you provide the cake, invitations and decorations?
No. You may bring your own cake and table decorations for birthday package reservations only. No piñatas or décor will be permitted to be hung on the wall. No Latex balloons are permitted due to allergies. Invitations may be printed from our website.

Will plates, napkins, cups, and utensils be supplied?
Yes. If you wish to do a theme or specific color, you may bring your own.

Will someone be there to help me with the kids at a birthday party?
Yes, party packages include a party host. Their main job is to assist with food and
beverage; they are not there to babysit the kids/teach them how to bowl/ etc.

Can we order additional food the day of?
Yes. You will be charged the day of your party for any additions not included in
your package.

Do we have a private room?
Birthday parties can not be booked in our VIP lane area. If you would like to book in the VIP area for a party, the VIP lane prices apply.

As we are a licensed facility, no outside food or drink is allowed. If you have a birthday package booked, you can bring in any dessert for a cake. If you do not have a package booked, there will be a $5 cake cutting fee.

How much time prior to my party’s start time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your party’s start time.

*As a reminder all bowling and events must be paid for in full prior to the starting. This is what activates the lanes.

If I’m planning a kid’s birthday party, does the birthday child bowl for free?
The birthday child counts towards the total headcount of your party.

Is Gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included on any food orders. All staff are grateful for any gratuity added to your bills.

Can I bring my hockey gear to outdoor skating?
Hockey and other sports materials are not permitted on the ice during public
skating sessions.

Are helmets required at outdoor skating?
Helmets are recommended for all participants at outdoor skating; however, they
are not required. We have a limited supply of helmets and skate buddies for
children.

Can I bring my stroller on the ice at outdoor skating?
Strollers are permitted on the ice with children strapped in. Helmets are
recommended. Baby carriers are not permitted on the ice.

Refund, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy


** Single-lane bowling reservations require 24hr notice for cancellation with
refund or to reschedule.
** 2-3 lane bowling reservation require 72hr notice for cancellation with refund or
to reschedule.
** Bowling reservations with 4 or more lanes require 30 days notice to reschedule
or cancel.
** Birthday party packages may be cancelled for a refund or rescheduled if 72hr
notice is provided.
**Outdoor skating reservations during public sessions require 24hr notice for
cancellation with refund or to reschedule.
** Each bowling lane may accommodate up to 8 guests. Additional lanes may not
be available on arrival if your group is too large to fit in your reservation and
same-day cancellations are not refundable.
** Please note, if you are more than 30 minutes late for your reservation and
have not contacted us, we may resell your lane without refund. This applies to all
reservations
** Please note that no outside food & drink permitted.
With the exception of a birthday cake and/or cupcakes for a cake-cutting fee.
Food purchases can be made from our City Centre Grille menu.

1. STAY BEHIND THE FOUL LINE WHEN BOWLING For your safety, stay
behind the marked foul line in your bowling lane (the marked line before the lane
itself). The lanes are oiled daily causing them to be slippery. If a ball gets stuck or
a bumper falls, please contact the front desk staff to help you. Don’t walk on the
lane past the foul line!

2. PREVENT SLIPPERY/STICKY CONDITIONS WHEN BOWLING Please
keep all food and drinks within the bowlers’ sitting area to keep the approach
area by the ball return free of liquid and debris. This helps your shoes stay clean
so you can slide before releasing your ball.

3. PREVENT AND AVOID TRIPPING HAZARDS Bowling bags, coats and
street shoes should be stored directly under the seats or tables in the bowlers’
area. It’s important to keep the walkways clear of things that may cause you or
others to trip.

4. BOWLING BALLS ON THE BALL RETURN Wait for moving balls to stop in
the ball return tray before retrieving or replacing your ball. Keep your hands out
of the hole where the balls come out. There are moving parts which are not
meant to come into contact with our guests and they could cause injury. Keep a
special eye out for curious children wanting to investigate the ball return. Please
keep no more than 8 balls on each ball return.

5. TEST YOUR BOWLER’S SLIDE Test slide your bowling shoes on the
approach to get the feel of the floor. Sliding is part of bowling so you want to
make sure the floor is just right for you. If you think the approach area is too
slippery or sticky, just ask an employee for assistance before you start your
game.

6. BOWLING SAFETY BASICS Please review these Bowling Safety Basics and
with each bowler in your party. This is especially important for children and first
time bowlers who may not understand the risks associated with the sport of
bowling. Parents are responsible for the actions and location of their children at
all times.

7. SKATING SAFETY BASICS Roughhousing is not permitted. Hockey and
other sports materials are not permitted on the ice during public skating sessions.
Food and drink is not permitted on the ice. Helmets are recommended for all
skaters - we have a limited supply of helmets and skate buddies for children.
Strollers are permitted on the ice with children strapped in – helmet
recommended. Baby carriers are not permitted on the ice. Skates are required on
the ice. Rubber mats can become slippery so please watch your step. Parents
are required to monitor children at all times. Chipping or intentionally damaging
the ice with skate picks is a safety issue and is prohibited. Arena safety rules are
posted inside the Westhills Arena – patrons are required to read and abide by all
rules to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests. Skating can pose a risk of
injury but we welcome you to join us at your own risk.

8. ALCOHOL AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE POLICY Langford Lanes as a
licensed facility is obligated to keep our staff and guests safe; and reserve the
right to ask guests who are not following the rules or otherwise jeopardizing the
safety of others to leave the facility. We reserve the right to deny service to
anyone who seems to be intoxicated upon entry or ordering. Guests are not
permitted to bring in or leave the facility with any alcohol. Ejection from the
premises will occur if attempting to use fraudulent identification, public
intoxication, purchasing alcohol for a minor, a minor attempting to purchase or
found in possession of alcohol, anyone who is found in possession of alcohol
brought onto the premises and not purchased from premises. The consumption
of illegal substances in and around the facility or possession of weapons will
result in ejection from the facility and possible legal action. Upon ejection from
the premises, no refunds will be granted for bowling or food and beverages.
